Arab Culture  (does the neighborhood has a name?? Little Syria??)

From West to East Atlantic Avenue maintains its historical roots in Middle Eastern culture.  The stores, restaurants, and mosques are a mix of “Little Syria” from over one hundred years ago, along with more recent immigrants from other areas of the Middle East like Palestine and Yemen.  This article from 1988 gives an interesting overview, and quotes a 21 year-old Christine Sahadi!
