Atlantic Avenue ArtWalk Returns May 10-18, 2025
Brooklyn’s Free Public Art Event Brings Together Over 125 Artists at 70 Participating Local Businesses to Celebrate Creativity and Community
Brooklyn, New York- April 9, 2025 - This spring, Brooklyn will come alive with creativity with over 125 local artists exhibiting their work at 70 local businesses for the Annual Atlantic Avenue ArtWalk from Saturday, May 10th to Sunday, May 18th from 12:00 pm-6:00 pm. This vibrant, free, self-guided, 1.5-mile art event will span Atlantic Avenue from Fourth Avenue to the waterfront and showcase the diverse talents of emerging and established artists at galleries, salons, boutiques, restaurants, and home decor shops.
Attendees will have the opportunity to experience a diverse collection of art ranging from paintings, drawings, three-dimensional art, mixed media, and photography. While enjoying Atlantic Avenue ArtWalk, people are encouraged to take time to visit and support the local, small businesses and restaurants in the area. They can grab a cup of coffee for their stroll, sit and eat, pick up a unique gift, or a new spring outfit, and explore new services- all of which help to keep the businesses that make up the fabric of the neighborhood thriving.
"ArtWalk is the perfect marriage of art and commerce. Our small business community, who are creative entrepreneurs running shops year-round, host local artists for two weeks, said Howard Kolins, AALDC’s Acting Executive Director. “We want everyone to walk the avenue while they enjoy the art and discover beautiful merchandise. After you’ve walked for a while, take a break at one of our wonderful restaurants."
