The Atlantic Avenue Local Development Corporation's Holiday Promotion has arrived! This year consumers can reduce their carbon footprint by dining and buying local. Atlantic Avenue merchants will feature gifts that incorporate green or recycled components and highlight products made by local craftsmen and women in their Holiday window displays. Specials and discounts will be available for the Holiday season.
Join us for a special Tree Lighting Ceremony and Choral Performance at the Belarusan Church at Bond Street and Atlantic Avenue on Thursday, December 3rd from 6pm to 8pm with Council Member David Yassky . Refreshments will be provided by local restaurants and there will be a special appearance by Santa!
Also, don't forget to vote for the People's Choice Award for the best merchant window display. Ballots will be available at Atlantic Avenue stores. The winner will be announced on Monday, December 21st.
