The Fleshtones
"Old-fashioned in sound, the Queens group's determined mediums -- singer Peter Zaremba, guitarist Keith Streng and drummer Bill Milhizer -- have never stopped channeling the spirit of every great rock'n'roll party band that ever stepped to it" -Trouser Press

Reigning Sound
"It's almost impossible to believe that a band so fierce and ferocious -- live and on record -- could reinvent itself, and hallowed rock traditions, with such humor and talent, but Memphis' Reigning Sound has and does." -Trouser Press

The Dansettes
These three girls and the young gentlemen who back them have got an ear for tradition and a dead-on sense of the now. They've unlocked the magic behind Stax/Atlantic/Tamla soul, Brill Building pop, and the sweet syncopations of New Orleans' R&B.

The Fabulous Soul Shakers

A straight connection to an era now gone, the FSS are fully animated by the same spirit that still makes the best doo wop/r&b/soul recordings sound ageless, essential, and realer than real.

The Coydogs
This three-piece plays Southern, blues-infused rock'n'roll a la early Flamin Groovies, while the vocal harmonies show their love of the Everly Brothers, Gene Clark and The Byrds.

Boss Tweed
The new sound of Americana roots music is evident in the dark blues and country twang of NYC trio Boss Tweed. Their soaring male/female harmonies intertwine in both giddy rockabilly numbers and sultry blues tunes, making for a live show busting with raw, honest energy.

WATERFRONT ALE HOUSE (between Henry and Clinton)
